I worked four-10's for years and while it's great and I did prefer it; it wasn't all ham & plaques. Throw a bit of a commute in there and you're a long way from feeling like leaping out of bed on Friday morning. Plus, your slutty wife is going to have an eternal list of shit for you to do that (every) Friday that's extremely unfair and will change the balance of your regular weekend.

I have been doing 3 day work weeks for the last 6.5 years, and I love it. I can't imagine going back to working 5 days a week... I like my extra time off. I used to do a lot of overtime, but that has dried up mostly.

Israel works Sunday-Friday. Friday being a short day and Saturday off. We should be more like Israel.

Instead of 4 days, 10 hours, can we do 3 days, 12 hours? I've done 3 months straight at 12 hours so anything is better than limping into Friday on a 5 day work week.

I miss my CoC Golf Courses summer job back in Uni. 4x 9.5 hour shifts to get you to 38 hours a week, excellent benefits, and $21/hr for selling beer and hot dogs and checking people in. Amazing pay for the times (2007-2011)

Back when I was single, I worked 4x10s and took a weekend job p/t at a warehouse driving forklift for shits and giggles.

I think it's clear they really need to call it a 32 hr work week instead of a 4-day work week. Doesn't seem to matter where these programs get brought up, the pros and cons of a 4x10 schedule or other compressed schedules based on a 40 hour work week is what takes over when that isn't what is being proposed.
