Thought so. Far ways from 100% return for ever.
it basically is 100% return forever, just return the thing every 46 months and say it's weak, they give you a full refund and you buy a new one, that's 100% return forever

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

But that would be unethical. Nobody would do that.

FYI - The "refund based on purchase price" is the original purchase price and not the new (higher) purchase price.

consumers retail ethics vs. corporate retail ethics would be a better discussion.

And the refund is based on current price, so if the price went up you actually end up making money lol.

no, the refund is based on purchase price, so if you paid $100 and that battery is now $140, you only get refunded $100 and still have to pay the price difference.

That's not what happened when I did the replacement at Costco last month.

If its a full replacement you don't pay anything even if the battery price goes up.

If it's a prorated refund, it's based on the original purchase price.

Was it ever that good?!? That's crazy. I always thought it was a regular, comparable pro-rated thing, which is quite reasonable. If it goes to shit in first 2-3 years, chances are it was defective and after that, you should really only get partial credit.
It used to be 100% refund, regardless, for ever. Just like everything else they have.

GC2 batteries are 12 months. You need to be pretty stupid to kill a battery in less than that.

Too bad about the GC2 batteries. 48 months on those would be amazing.
