I’ve always heard it’s kinetico or bust with these things.

Interested to hear peoples opinions on that. I need to pick one up some time this summer.
From who? Trail? lol - I got an Aquatell Fleck 5600SXT (1cu ft) as recommended by other members of beyond in 2019 for $900 now it's $1140. Never had any issues and it's easy to program

Everyone I know personally with a softener has a kinetico. Can’t say I have ever asked Trail about them.

Not having a water softener in Calgary is basically akin to living like a savage.

I'm just happy to have a water treatment plant and potable water for my community. Trudeau tells me this is a luxury not everyone can have.

I once made the mistake of buying a softner from Costco. It broke just like all the reviews said it would.

    I bought a 5800SXT from this guy. https://www.thewaterman.ca/

I think he will deliver and install, but I picked mine up from him in Hawkwood. Good guy, responds to emails right away with any questions related to setup. Softner has been running strong for 2 years and I moved it from the temp house to the new house without an issue.

I had this guy move my softener from my old house to my new house. He's super knowledgeable and did great work (unlike the kijiji hack that installed it at the old house). Highly recommended.

Fleck is the way to go, they've been around forever and are essentially bulletproof. Kinetico is highly overrated and overpriced.

Maybe C was happening in the shower while it broke and B happened and ended the soft hair showing?

Hungarian grandmother is still impacted by this today.
Now has more money than she can spend in her lifetime and is still frugal as anything.
Other Hungarians I know are the exact same.
