With the introduction of more EV's, overall power consumption may plummet - so there isn't really all that much need for energy storage.

Electric scooter uses 250 watts to maybe 500 watts to move a human 15.5mph to 25mph. That is 1/3rd to 2/3rds a HP. If people start using that instead of a 2,000 pound combustion vehicle every time they want to go to the store for a soda - it will literally mean 200x less energy needed overall.

So no need to build extra natgas to electric plants. In fact, we may have to start thinking about reducing them. I'd be more concerned that the USA decides that they no longer need the existing pipelines. Its a little like a floppy disc in the age of USB thumbdrives, crazy efficiency will definitely eventually make old ideas obsolete.

Kroger/Dominos 100 pound groceries robot delivery for 10 cents? Its coming fast, arguably the most energy wasteful part of a vehicle delivery is keeping a 200 pound human in a temperature controlled air bubble.

Drastic drastic deflation in combustion vehicles is a possibility.

Are you the old owner of my house?

Had to tear out an entire sex dungeon bolted to the ceiling.

Don't worry, we'll all join them soon enough, because we sure as fuck can't beat them in any meaningful way.

HODL has always worked out throughout history if you are speaking about the markets in general. As long as you ain't retiring and need the funds, what is there to worry about?

I dunno, any large drop concerns me if it sets back my retirement plans. I'm >5 years to retirement, but a single year with - 50% can't help.

    Has me thinking defensive thoughts.

Well you should always manage your risk profile such that you can sleep at night.

Just don’t be surprised if you don’t hit 7.2

7.2 isn't one of my goals, so that works.
