    Oh theres no way to get past the power vent we would have to remove it even to unscrew the existing one. The one thats in there is a straight pipe.

    I wonder if that's where mine is because there are two inspection plugs that I pulled out of the top, but they are full of spray foam from the factory.
    WtF?! There's no way the anode is in there... Unless it is...
    Maybe I'll look deeper into this today.

    I was reading my friends manual and it said the anode is under spray foam that has to be removed. Although his anode is under the fan just to the side of the power vent. It doesnt have foam ontop of it (perhaps was replaced already prior to 2013 when they moved in) the other inspection plugs do have foam on them.

    It is.. I had to dig out the foam from mine to remove it.
