Default Interior door - keyed lock - lost keys

Anyone have advice for me? We have a keyed lock on our art room, it's one of those Weiser smartkey interior handles. Lost the keys, because of course we did. Probably in that room I guess.
    Suggestions for gaining entry? Locksmith?
    This handle, if it matters:

What happens if I lose my current key?

If you lose the functioning key(s), you would need to either take the SmartKey lock back to the home improvement retailer or an authorized Weiser locksmith to reset the lock, just as you would with any conventional lock. Once reset, SmartKey will function normally.
So Homedepot, or Lowes or whever should be able to do it, if you can actually find the key guy somewhere in the store. It usually takes me 1/2 hour wait and 3 visits to the customer service desk to call them again.

I grow more suspicious of this "art" room with every post.

I can't bring the lock anywhere. It's installed on a locked door I can't open.

Open to suggestions on easiest way to destroy the lock without damaging the door or frame too. I can install new handle easily if I can just get the door open once.

One buddy said I should just "go to town with a sledge hammer" and another suggested drilling the lock though the key slot.

Can you just use a credit card and jiggle the door? Works on a surprising number of locks tbh.

That would probably work from inside the room, but you can't access that slot from the exterior/hallway side of the door.

I've successfully used thin bendable plastic to get around the door jamb, like the credit card trick.

Yeah, thinner than that but if you heat the plastic in hot water first, the slip it in, it may work.

Any locksmith can pick that lock in a matter of seconds.

Or buy a kit, the rake will probably open it for you.

Cut a small hole in the wall, the size of a child. Get child in the room and unlock the door

Yeah, figured it's not hard to pick. What's a service call from a locksmith cost these days?

Yup, I once opened my front door because I locked my keys inside. Thought it wouldn't work but had a hour to kill and a card I didn't care for and sure enough it opened. Worth a shot.

Otherwise if its a long handle on the otherside too I'd drill a small hole below the handle and try to hook it with a clothes hanger and pull it down to pen it. If its a round handle well....

Waaaay too tight to get a credit card in, and I play around with a strip cut from a milk jug, but didn't get anywhere. Just gong to get a locksmith to come tomorrow. I can easiyl do $100 worth of damage, and potentially much more than that. Why fuck around when a professional can do it?

Probably won't work. I suspect it has a 2piece latch, the small one prevents the large one from moving when attemting this when the door is shut.
