The national broadcaster supported by public funding should not be directly campaigning for their preferred party.

It's been socialist propaganda since I was in diapers, and maybe longer.

Rumor has it, Lloyd Robertson gave Trudeau Sr a rusty trombone at a 1976 CBC awards gala while Rex Murphy watched.

The amount of derailment and useless chatter in this thread is completely compatible with Liberal policy & budget.

    Carry on...

We change the subject as often as Trudeau does answering to Pierre Poilievre.

Pierre “ Justin Trudeau what time is it “

Justin “ Our friends the conservatives across the aisle might not feel comfortable with giving every day Canadians the programs they want to succeed, but the Liberal party of Canada says we reject Harper style policies and will do everything we can to help the middle class grow and prosper in an environmentally sustainable way that benefits all Canadians equally”

Pierre “ what time is it “

    Justin “word salad”

Pretty sure I could write Justin’s House of Commons responses, and I’m certain someone gives him a crib sheet of what to say every time.

Wow. 7 pages and nobody has addressed the real "fuck you" from the Liberals yet. With the amount of inflation they have created, this 100k "Luxury Tax" is going to apply to a base model Honda Civic soon. Typical Marxist tricks and fuckery. Tell the plebs they're going to hit the rich, then the plebs are bamboozled when they realize the Marxists considered them rich.
If Honda Civics are going to be $100k, there will be no Honda Civics for sale in Canada because Honda won’t want useless Canadian Dollars.

The umm and ah's are him waiting for his script reader to relay the next line in his earpiece. I'm still convinced that's what happened when a reporter asked him about Trump and he just stood there staring. His earpiece cutout.

Ottawa announces $6B transfer to Quebec aimed at strengthening child care

Legault told reporters the money is "without conditions,'' adding that the province already spends $2.7 billion a year on its child-care system, which he said costs parents, on average, $8.50 a day per child.

"What that means is that Quebec will receive financing to continue developing its network,'' Legault said. "We also have a deal that says after the year 2026, (Ottawa) will continue to help finance (the network).''

Legault called the deal his government signed with Ottawa "asymmetric,'' meaning that while the federal government imposed certain conditions on the money it gave to other provinces for child care, Quebec has no such conditions.

But the premier wouldn't specify how much of the money announced Thursday will go to child care.

Quebec-Canada child care agreement: Minister Schulz

Wow, what a surprising move by the Liberals... giving more money to Quebec when they already have the cheapest child care in the country thanks to the rest of the country AND they don't even have to spend the child care money on child care.... way to go!

If you are not a separatist, you cannot complain about federal policies. Deconstructing confederation is the only answer for Canada going forward.

Unless and until Canadians outside of Ontario/Quebec are willing to grow some balls, this is the way it will be.

I'm in this thread before the Liberals announce UBI for the fall federal election... Bunch of chumps. This not finding good employees for serving jobs will become long standing or the pay will be $35/hr increasing inflationary metrics.

In this case, growing some balls is implementing a provincial childcare program that meets the federal conditions and get the no-strings attached money as well. Or just spend the province's budget with no strings attached and use the federal money for childcare. A real ball-busting choice.
