No countries currently part of the Euro ever used the dinar. Seems you're confusing Europe and the Middle East (granted Serbia and Macedonia still use the dinar).
I was joking about the dinar. Everybody knows they used the yuan. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Your study says:
"There is still a lack of reliable empirical data about which eurozone countries have gained from the
introduction of the euro and which ones have lost out. Although there have been studies of whether
the euro has promoted trade between eurozone countries,2 the results are not clear-cut. In addition,
focussing on trade only throws light on a small aspect of the introduction of the euro. Disadvantages
of introducing the euro arising from the fact that eurozone countries can no longer devalue their
currencies, remain unaccounted for. "
But let's assume Germany made out great with the unified currency. A great way to keep those benefits is to now rid themselves of the ties.

let's keep this thread on the topic of our useless currency
That's the end goal of every Trudeau.

I've had quite a few conversations even just today with people discussing exit plans for Canada if the budget is not punitive to everyone equally (ie if there are wealth taxes, higher cap gains inclusions, etc).

I expect this budget to balance itself.
Now that my expectations have been made clear, this leadership task is complete. Consider yourself led.

Shiny graphs!
Let's get real here, the minute O'Toole say he's gonna replace carbon tax rebate with bus passes, he just handed the majority to Trudeau to do whatever he wants.

Which of course, almost nobody actually did. Your conversations with people probably have the best finances to back the decision, but why you and they haven't already done it is beyond my reasoning. It's not like there's been any indicators that we were ever going to go any other direction.

It’s that it’s gotten a little worse, every year, for years with no end in sight.
What’s amazing to me is that anyone considers Trudeau’s “plan” and policies to be good ones.
