    Default 2015+ Charger R/T

Anyone here have one? 370 hp hemi that runs on 87 or 89 octane. Considering downsizing from 2 vehicles and based on youtube reviews and general comments it seems like a pretty decent daily driver for a V8 fan. Don't want or need scat pack level power. I wasn't huge fan of the earlier models, but the newer chargers look much better imo. Could be the C19 used car shortage, but haven't been able to find many 2015+ R/T's for sale Alberta wide to test drive.

2015? Do Chrysler products last that long?

4300lb and 370hp (less at Calgary elevation), I'd say calling "very fast" is very generous.

Everyone I know who went to the SRT8 did not regret it... don't know if they also have the same cam tick/lifter issues as the 5.7 and the ZF auto is the transmission you want

LX Chryslers are fun, cheap boats. Parts are cheap too. The R/Ts aren't crazy fast but are still fun to drive. Get the 8-speed. Stock suspension is pretty soft but lots of aftermarket options if you want to stiffen it up.

I think it really depends what you are using it for and what you prioritize. I agree the exterior refresh makes it look much better. Inside is nicer too - though still not at the level of competitors. This is a BIG and heavy car which cruises nice and compliant, and handles ok all things considered. Stable on the highway. Fuel mileage is generally terrible in city driving, not too bad on the highway. 8 speeds helps a lot.

I don't know enough to comment on quality, but I believe these are generally pretty reliable, and as mentioned, parts are cheap.

My buddy has the v6, and while underpowered its a decent car and he absolutely loves it.

I'm kinda ok with boats, heck my acura is 3873 lbs or so. 0-60 is around 5 flat which is acceptable. Nothing V8 available to test drive it seems with the C19 shortages so on hold for now.

"Very fast" boat, name a boat that's faster!

There are loads of 4500lb cars with double or more horsepower that are still boats but clearly faster.

I didn’t realize the question was name a faster car*?

*that meets a bunch of other arbitrary criteria designed to make it look better.

I've never driven a Charger or Challenger as my Chrysler days are over. I get that the handling is probably not great but is it legit bad?
