I have to say, I am really impressed with my Secret Labs chair so far. Super well built, robust, firm yet comfortable and well thought out. I have no regrets.
You were the swing vote for me. My chair is scheduled to arrive on Saturday.

    Nice!
Went back to work yesterday. Sat for about 30min in my Aeron before i had to find a chair in a board room.

I know the chair Nazis will disagree, but cant stand that chair. Wish i could have a SL at work, Id buy it myself if it was allowed.

I have an Aeron at work and 100% hate that fucking thing and I'm trained in ergonomics. I need to find a Leap chair pronto

I hated my aeron, switched back to some rando cheap one from source and it was better. Then switched to an IKEA Markus and it’s the best one for me. I’m a bigger guy felt like I was too heavy for the aeron. had a Markus at home I liked, so I bought one for the office too and wouldn’t look back.

The Aeron is an old design. It was designed in 1992 and released in 1994. Since then HM have done a few updates to the back support (Posture fit) but essentially it is still the same chair. Sure, it looks cool but just about any other ergonomic chair from the big 3 office furniture manufactures is better in terms of ergonomics. When I worked for HM, I preferred the Mirra over the Aeron or Embody. There are just so m any better chairs out there that have better ergonomics for less money too.

Which of those ikea chairs has adjustable seat pan depth? Have a little wife that needs that feature above all.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

You employer wouldn’t “allow” you to buy your own chair?
