You do know VWFS want 8.7% on a Taos right?

2-3% is hard to come by for most cars people want. Only cars stuck in lot get low rate, like 1.5% on Sierra up to 72 mths.
This would be the compromise, no?

GMC offering 3-3.5% on the acadia and the terrain... while not a van, maybe it fits the bill for them. And base models can be had for all in for just over 50k
Ford offering 3.5% on '22 explorers.

Nah, needs to be a van...3 under 3 and a stupid large breed dog

I would honestly be hating life if I was trying to get all that into an SUV by myself, like she would be a lot of the time, putting the toddler into an Expedition was enough of a chore day-to-day

This is on a new car?? I dont blame you for bailing, i'd switch brands or find another dealership. There are still lots of places offering 2-3% financing on new cars.... guess it depends how flexible you are.
What is it that you love about the Kia? Cant find anything similar in another brand?

I'd tell the wife, if she is set on a new car to find something she can compromise on.
you're living in 2020, all imports are 6%+

Its the same when interest rate ws low, savings rate is 5% easily so 1-2% gap really between the two.

Life will start reminding me of the 80s.
Not everyone can drive a Euro motorcar and you'd maybe see 1 mid end bmw in the road on a trip to the grocery store.
People bout to get an expectation reset.

    Limited edition, but still

You damn right it's limited, no cup holder, no back seat, just a shiny dick with two chairs in it. I guess we're the balls, just draggin' the fuck along.

Only a financial liability if you want them to succeed. Or complete drop outs that you want to stick around. Ok, I see your point.

I’d go with something closer to a questionable investment.

My wife is now raging mad at me because I'm pulling the plug on our 2023 Carnival after seeing the numbers, long story short it would end up being a $60k base model minivan...surely our 2011 Odyssey is still the better vehicle?
I received my EX+ allocation @ MSRP minus $700 last November. If dealers still think they can sell at premium they are delusional.
