    Back off topic.
Make a gas component analysis mega thread with the radon stuff in there for good measure?
I think I'll create a thread about hydrogen blending later but right now I'm busy trying to figure out how to get 50,000 L/day of diesel into a hilariously remote area.

Pretty sick of the woke nonsense that this council is trying to do.

Look at any progressive city that has tried to be woke and implement progressive policies (ie. San Francisco). The results are clear, SF is a literal shithole, feces and needles everywhere, homeless everywhere, assaults robberies are very common. Woke shit doesn't work, hopefully Calgary doesn't become like that if it isn't already.

Guess the fun is just starting. Let’s find more creative ways to blow our tax dollars.

It’s ok. She has better things to do than taking care of the city. The city will balance itself after all.

Never met a dollar she wasn’t willing to spend.

Can’t we virtue signal in Alberta instead?

Hydrogen pipelines! The only pipeline that is good. What could possibly go wrong?

I haven't followed this particularly closely, but I think they are really ammonia pipelines and the hydrogen is separated out at the endpoint. So not a hindenburg pipeline at least.

    Negative.
I'm involved with a couple of H2 projects and while it's true that ammonia "storage" is being explored, there are very real plans to pipeline pure hydrogen. They're even considering using abandoned lines in the current "hub" area outside of Fort Sask. (Dow and Scotford are major producers).
The City of Calgary has also agreed to attempt to add 5% hydrogen to the natural gas heating network to displace carbon.
Yep - those threaded connections leading to the hot water tank in your basement will soon be 95% CH4 and 5% the smallest fucking molecule on earth with one of the highest ranges between LEL and UEL. It'll go to those garage heaters where the homeowner didn't use a gas- fitter to run the piping, too.
    It's a climate emergency.
This sounds like another game of hide the tailpipe.

Quebec's doing it all wrong. Just ban all religions and you won't have to worry about what people wear then.

    FTFY.
There's so many so-called tech companies which pretend to have some kind of advanced algorythm or AI when it's really a brute force old fashioned approach that requires huge manpower, just often in third-world countries.
