Because Farkas was portrayed as this hyper-militant conservative who was going to give all our taxes to businesses and fuck us all over as the UCP's rep.
Ironically he was told to hide the fact that he was gay, so it didn't offend his conservative voters, but I legit think he would've been voted in, had it been general knowledge before that.

Although I don't disgree with the general spirit of the article, Rick Bell is such a waste of oxygen that its hard to take any sort of over-dramaticized bullshit he puts out seriously. My 3 year old strings together more comprehensible sentences than that clown did during any of the covid press conferences or any of his articles he's written since then.

Our mayor sucks, Rick Bell sucks worse.
