They are still hot seller now, and with high demand and short supply, you are not going to see much discount anyway, most dealerships are adding tons of "add-on" fees now …

I once was looking to buy a Toyota at "staff" price, cost + $1,000 .. but that is only $850 off on a Corolla …

If I remember correctly, I got these discounts off my Venza:

    - $2100 off the all-in purchase price
    - free cargo liner
-*$500 extra on my car trade in value
    - 3.49% --> 1.99% financing rate (3yr)

There are some discounts to be had

We just took delivery of our RAV4 Limited Hybrid from Toyota Northwest Edmonton.

The overall process with the salesperson and finance office was decent but IMO they ended up cutting corners on our Xpel package.

I was going to get Rainer to wrap the damn thing but didn't want rocks chips on the way home since they were driving it down from Edmonton.

Their "full front package" included hood, a/b pillars, mirrors, roofline, front bumper, and door cups. Not bad, right?

Except when I got more specific, I found out it's half the hood, so I had them change it to a full hood. When the car got here, the fender was only 1/4 covered. Jesus lol.

Oh well. Win some lose some. We got $1500 more for our trade-in than every other dealer, so I think I'll just use the savings there and get Rainer / Nano Defense to re-do the fenders.

Anyone plan to get any trucks? Tacoma or the new Tundra? We are looking for a truck as (from my post in the RV thread), we need something to tow a trailer we’re wanting to get. I thought we should get a Tacoma first (if there’s any available that is) and since its resale is insane, maybe trade it in next year or 2 for the new Tundra.
Are you looking to buy used? I have a ‘17 Tundra that I’m thinking about trading for a ‘21. I just hate the redesign so maybe grab a fresh trd pro with warranty

I am thinking of new as there’s really no point of buying used as they are pretty much the same price lol. The only problem is supply and if there are 2021s left (off road).

But thank you for the offer

I could see the tundra being next rig.. provided the mileage is at least somewhat better with current gas prices..

I'll take Ryan's email too. Bought an R from him back when he was at VW.

Ryan is the man as with many others I bought a Golf R from him back in the day. I actually have a GR Corolla pre-order with him. I'm hoping that car comes this year.

    +1 on Ryan.

Dunno how he pulled off getting us a Sienna AWD, everywhere I see people are waiting 8-12 months on one in Canada.

No idea. We know it's coming because Toyota has been teasing it but until it's revealed it doesn't exist. I would expect it will be in the range of $40-50k which will be a lot for a car with a 3-cylinder engine but it will probably be the last ICE car like this from Toyota.

I didn't know you could preorder a car that doesn't exist.

I suppose my words were poorly chosen. Basically putting down money to get in line for when the order banks open.

I’ve done that for years at MB.

SLK63 - never made, so got deposit back.
C63 BS - got the first slot, only 10 slots in all of Canada.

    It’s a great $500 gamble.

Bump. Anyone buy a Tacoma lately? Wondering what people are getting for prices, only just started looking and so far got MSRP+dealer fees.
