Tell your realtor they waved conditions, the first repair was simply your goodwill but that you will not pay for any more remediation. If that does not suffice for the other party then they can talk to your lawyer.

    Then fuck their dad.

Like everyone else said, this isn't your problem. I had an "issue" come up like this when I sold my place last year and we told them to pound sand. Then they got their lawyers involved on possession day and after realizing that a $100 "fix" on their end was delaying their possession when I wouldn't budge they just took the keys and paid up.

If a house doesn't have at least three fuckups somewhere then you should be very wary.

I have a feeling this is what’s going to happen, I just got an auto text from the plumbing company that they rescheduled an appt for the place during possession Friday. I won’t be there and I won’t be paying them any more money.

Also the what the fuck is this "pre-possession walkthrough" nonsense anyhow? This is a used home, they're fucking sold as-is.

It's typically used as opportunity to quickly walk through the place and verify it's not all fucked up after the seller moved out - e.g. you weren't covering a huge hole in the floor with a strategically placed rug and couch during showings; you didn't slide all your furniture down the stairs and fuck-up the walls and paint; You didn't pull out the microwave oven when appliances are supposed to be included, etc.

It's pretty common - I'd insist on it if I were buying. What's bullshit is using it to identify new nickel-and-dime non-issues after waiving the home-inspection clause.

Make sure the plumber knows that THEY will be footing the bill for his visit.

    Standard operating practice here.

If you don’t include this, you could be fucking yourself and not their dad.

    From a buyers prospective anyway.

Sure, making sure they didn't trash the place is one thing, but these fuckers are treating the thing like they bought a new house.

I washed my hands of this after signing the lawyers papers today for closing and dropped the key off so I can’t access the property anymore anyway.

If you still need them, I have connections for some black market shower heads, all made in the former Yugoslavia. And from what I hear the Serbs are fanatic about their showers.

Post their cellphone number and we all start sending dick pics.

I loved the light bulb move.
Maybe we all donate 100w ones.

Upper decker time if you're doing plumbing work.

    They know it's a seller's market right?
    I'm with @suntan , what's this pre-posession walk through?!
You give them a used homeowner's warranty too for a few years? Lol

100w? I was thinking like 40w bulbs throughout?

If it was not added to 9.2 of the terms in an amendment to have you to repair you have no contractual obligation to have repaired.

Feel free to send me the amendment from the inspection, Ill review the wording to ensure you are good

I can't see anyone trying to nix a deal over something so trivial.

Every cent counts these days, it seems.
