Default Front Lip - Material between lip and paint

Looking to see if anyone has any good ideas here. I have an aluminum front lip for my car, I'm trying to figure out what I could put on it so it wont rest against my paint.

Would be nice to have some kind of thin rubber tape or or foam that i could put between the two... can't really find anything online that fits the bill.

Anyone have any insight or have used anything before? Paint is black, lip is out for powder coating satin black, so anything black would look fine as long as i can keep it uniform running along the top of the lip.. whatdo they usually put between over fenders and the original fender? or is that some kind of silicone sealant?

    any help appreciated.

Honda Lip Kit gasket is great stuff.

I used it on my sideskirts and rear lip. Make sure the lip is super clean (it applies to the backside) and apply with a little heat and it makes everything look so much cleaner.

I have some thin rubber tape that would work well I think. Search "self amalgamating tape" it's not very sticky, but if it's between 2 objects, it won't go anywhere.

I'm hoping that the solution is some sort of silicon adhesive goop which you will refer to as caulk. Then you get to obsessively make those loud remarks about handling caulk, touching caulk, the smell of the caulk, the colour & size of the black caulk, massaging your caulk around the lip, etc.
    This will never get old.
    Ever.
