Yup I'm still here.
Figured i didn't need to keep posting the updates until we win a block or reach the payout dates.

Having been in this Crypto game for a long time now I have plenty of faith in Cardano but we will most certainly sink further and recover wont be until probably 2023. BUT I'm going to keep stacking. Bitcoin will probably always remain number one but I believe Cardano has enough utility to replace Etherium for #2. Especially once POS happens I could see mass exodus from Etherium to Cardano since its already established.

At this point the pool is costing me very little to run so ill just let it buck. I did start working on a read website http://cardanoyyc.ca/ if anyone wants to share that around.
Not sure why the stats are broken. Ill look at that later today.

I also reached out to NDAX and the new PoutineSwap about staking thier holdings with YYC and they both told me "we have trusted partners".. It would be beneficial to all if you could choose your stake pool right on the exchange. I think we would see more uptake on staking.

I haven't bought any crypto in literally 5 years or there about, do you still have to buy bitcoin or ETH first and then use that to buy cardano? or can you just straight up buy cardano now?

NDAX.io has Cardano. See the first post for affiliate link and we both get $10.

Otherwise just about every major exchange has Cardano now.

To stake Cardano you do need to pull it off the exchange into a wallet which i understand is a PITA.

When it rains it pours! We finally got our first and second block in the same evening!

Pretty excited to start seeing some returns from this.

For the delegators you wont see much change. The 5% rewards will not be paid in the periods we make blocks since the pool is now operating properly.

perfect timing as last night I decided to move my ADA off KuCoin and put them all on my wallet with all that is happening right now.

Ok so the first real pool rewards should have hit everyone's wallets.

The Pool takes a fixed 340ADA + 2% of the rewards for every epoch minted. Ya'll crazies split the remaining 98%.
As promised from the first page, of that 2%, 1.5% will go to charity and 0.5% will go to Beyond.
So the current balances as it stands:

Charity: 13.09 (Any thoughts on our first donation?)
Beyond: 4.36
(ADA)

Ill probably wait till these balances hit $100 CAD before sending just to save my sanity.

Well with the pool hitting our first blocks and the current stake size. I cant afford to keep paying the 5% rewards.
So effective end of the year I am going to stop the guaranteed rewards. I don't blame anyone for jumping ship but I'm honestly impressed nobody here bailed out at all. Threw down your chips and let them ride. I still have full confidence in Cardano and will continue to support this pool and the charity i want to give.

Anyway! Epoch 370-380 are being paid asap. you should see them soon.
