I will stay with Android because while Google certainly strongly encourages you to adopt more and more of their shit, they don't physically insert another finger into your asshole every time you choose something different. Fewer fingers in my asshole is a KPI for my satisfaction as a phone customer.

Google's biggest problem is them pulling the rug once you're stuck with a service. Then there's the whole each product doesn't work well with one another (except tracking lol) because google development teams apparently don't talk to each other at all. It's just a melting pot of silo'd apps and services, and frustrating from a Ux point of view.

Apple is unified, and shit (mostly) works well together. It might not be the best at anything, but it generally works well without me having to deal with shit. I spend so much time dealing with my dad's android phone teaching him how to solve issues, where as 92 year old grandma has almost zero problems using an iPad in BC where I can support her with a simple call. Checking my asshole, the only finger that's been up there is my Doctor's during my yearly physical. I dunno what you mean by that comment lol.

As for @Buster , he's just bitter that we won't run another app to talk to him without SMS glitches. We're not used to running 10 different chat apps to talk to people, unlike Google's 10 graveyard'd chat platforms.
