    For the same reason people buy the Ecosport that is built on the Fiesta platform.

    NA doesn't like sedans, hatchbacks or wagons. They would rather pay more for an SUV coupe, CUV, SUV or Truck. Not for capability, but for looks.

    I'm old, so I remember when everybody and their dogs wanted a minivan. When there were 3 variants of the Chrysler Van (Plymouth Voyager, Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town and Country).

    When I go on Vacation, if there is a Minivan in the Emerald Isle, I grab it. Its the best thing ever. Would I drive one daily? Nope.

    Hmmm. Kinda like it, it doesn’t make sense though.

    But I’d probably sit in it to see.. the base with hybrid is actually quite compelling.

    I'm sure glad we have a minivan, but I'm maybe more glad that it's my wife who drives it daily so I can drive my ATS.

    And yes, if this truck came out in a pure EV like Ford seems to be doing, that would obviously be a whole different ball game.

    A hybrid that seats 4.5 and do 40mpg with a bed for $26K base and $35K loaded. What's the point of Civic/Corolla/CR-V/RAV4?
