Stampede was great as kids. Those were the days. Haven't been in 6 years or so, last time I did go I went with my parents in the evening just to stroll the grounds. Left disgusted by most human behavior that I saw.

Rodeo was packed. Grounds a lot less busy.

Just got back from there. Way better than most years with the amount of people there. Midway games have doubled or even tripled in price. Still mostly cringeworthy people.

I only go during the day now, always drama at night.

I went to the Western Oasis tonight in the BMO center to check out my favorite artists and it was awesome. Barely anyone there. Glad I went during a slow time before Stampede officially starts

Saw some chick when we left who cooked a pancake at home, brought it to the grounds just to get her Instagram bf to take pics of her fake flipping a flapjack

We also went on sneak a peak and it was so dead. Couldn't believe the calgaryherald was saying there was so many crowds.

When I left around 6pm it felt as busy as any other year. Grand stand was mostly full from what I could see.
