We have several families going to same resort. Can a TA help get us rooms near each other? Asid from TA, any way to make this happen?

I don't think Allah and the Prophet Mohammed can put rooms close together. It's fucking amazing how difficult hotels make that simple task.

Grand Bahia Principe Coba has a kids water park and stuff, it's part of like a 5 resort complex, huge area, we go there every year (except last year ffs). We love it. We don't have kids so never stayed at the Coba specifically, but it's all one large area so you can explore everywhere.

We stayed at the palace deluxe and loved it. The pool rarely had 30 ppl in it and it was huge, so the kids didn't have to worry about any drunk rif raff running into them.

Travel bank also doesn’t work for WJ vacations.

This seems a bit iffy.

If you pay for a trip that gets cancelled, it goes into travel bank per their current cancellation policy, but then you can't use it towards another vacation package?

Curious on this one, when I booked my flights the agent split them into different reservations to accommodate my voucher/bank/wj$, according to Westjet, only those under the same reservation code are eligible for the Westjet world elite benefits, so does that mean I need to pay for checked baggage for my members who got split onto their own?

When I look at my travel bank it is very clear that I can’t use it for WJ vacations.

Barcelo Maya Palace is awesome. Stayed two years ago and will definitely go back. The property is massive and spans over 4-5 barcelo resorts. So much to do and perfect location. Great snorkeling off the dock, 5 star gym, pristine beaches, great drinks and amazing food. Make sure to do the Japanese tepan restaurant a bunch. It’s one of my favourite resorts in Mexico. Enjoy!

Looking for something in November and haven't travelled in a while. Other than airline vacations, what sites do you book from now a days?

escapes, expedia, something else?

Will likely choose mexico since dominican etc involve flying through toronto. TIA

I’d you are into High end hotels I have had really good luck with the visa infinite hotel collection service. If you don’t have status it works out Similarly in terms of perks and upgrades.

Mine was booked through Expedia but the documents were labelled as a Westjet Vacation.

You however CAN use (and earn) WestJet dollars on vacation packages.

I think I compared Expedia and WJ Vacations when we booked our November trip and yeah WJ was cheaper, plus we figured it would be easier to handle than having Expedia as intermediary.
