    Default Recovering Seats

Anyone still alive in this part of the world?

If so, tips on recovering black leather in CDN spec, 93 Turbo? Old leather is cracking up but overall car is minty and 100% stock so important to keep it that way.

    Thoughts/comments?

Find a local upholstery shop, should be a relatively straightforward gig.

For reference, I'm having Degreeve Auto Upholstery swap B7 Recaro skins onto my B5 rear seats. Simply replacing leather shouldn't be difficult.

DIY or someone to do it?

I'm going here to get the Miata interior restored.

    https://www.crtechniques.ca

Cracks and wrinkles on the seats, and a couple of scratches, stains and holes. Trying to get the interior perfect right now. CR Techniques is highly recommended from others that's done restorations.

CR put leather in our F150 XLT about 6 years ago

Very good job on the upholstery but whoever wired heated portion didn't do it right and it was back 3 times for them to get it right

I think we paid $2000 for it, but we had Ford get it done for us prior to collecting the truck so they rolled it into the financing, so it might have been more or less than that depending how they wanted to make the numbers work...

Wanted to share my experience with Jamie who owns Cr technique, first off the car is a 2007 Audi rs4 130k km. Interior is well used. I only got my drivers seat done as the passenger seat is never used, arm rest is done as well. I was skeptical at first as he said it would look better than the passenger seat but it would wear over time and equal out. It took him a couple hours but he was also fixing a damaged window frame on the house. Let the pictures do the talking.

^Mind me asking how much that cost? I’ve got similar sort of usage on mine.

That was just cleaned and sprayed with paint. Talking with Jamie the owner, he has so much confidence in it looking good and lasting a long time. I don’t drive the car that much but it still looks the as good. No fillers were used just paint, Jamie doesn’t believe fillers are a wise choice.
