Default What wagon/stroller do you use?

We're going to buy one of those stroller wagon things since our thule is not good for hauling two kids on an outing in crowded spaces (e.g., zoo trip). There's a huge range in prices/quality in these, just curious what peoples experiences/recommendations are?

I really didn't want to, but considering one of the more expensive ones (Veer Cruiser). As a whole package (form/function) it seems better than the others.

Anyone else out there dumb enough to buy an $800 wagon? Can you sell me on the $150 radio flyer? I'd be happy to be convinced.

    We use a Radio Flyer.

    Great little wagon, and cheap.

Think about it you can have 5 Radio Flyer's for the price of a Veer.

I was dumb enough to buy the Veer Cruiser for my wife & 2 kids after she spent her entire pregnancy with the second one not so subtly hinting at it. After you quit vomiting from the price and accept that that money is no longer in your account you start to really like it. Its sturdy as fuck, light, and folds down really nice for transport or storage which helps a lot because our garage is cramped. We have the sun shades, snack tray, and basket at the back which really makes it the ultimate zoo cruiser. The kids actually really enjoy it because its got two seats with a drop floor so they aren't sitting flat, and has seat belts for when your toddler thinks they can jump in and out at their leisure. We've taken it down some trails by the river during summer, and down the unplowed paths in our community in the winter and it handles that all with no problem. Plus, the wife gets a lady boner every time someone compliments her on it (while I cringe at what it cost me).

I personally think one of those cheaper ones with two seats and the drop floor would have been fine, but I also can't deny the quality of this thing.

EDIT: We're likely getting rid of the Bugaboo stroller and going down to just having this as it packs smaller and just works better.

We use the $70 one from Costco and it's most than sufficient. Big wheels, support up to 300lbs, easy to fold up, has pockets, etc.. We prefer it over our Uppababy vista for everything other than going to a mall.

great for kids though as they can easily hop in and out.

Just say no to wagons unless you have a chiropractor on speed dial.
We used a City Select Baby Jogger with the two seats and it was awesome. If you buy it off Kijiji you can sell it 2 years later for +/-$100 of what you paid for it, so that washes the crippling expense away.

    Maclaren Twin Triumph for travel.

We use this wagon, it's a bit bigger then most, fits two toddlers with ease, 3 would be tight. There's room for cargo and it's self propelled as a bonus. I can't remember the exact cost but it was a bit more then $800.

Cheap bulky graco when the kid is small enough to stay in a stroller. Cheap folding wagon when you are hauling gear. Once kid is big enough to walk, they walk, and if they are too tired to walk, you go home.

    Stroller: Uppababy Vista

Wagon: Veer Wagon. Its built like a military grade unit. I also vomited when I saw the price. It's freaking amazing.
We got the canopy attachment as shown, and a comfortable seat as add ons.

Is there a point in having both a stroller and a wagon?

They seem to serve the same purpose? Without much more storage than my stroller has.

Well, I can't see myself taking a new born/infant for a walk in a wagon, though you can get an adapter for the Veer to clip on a car seat.

Wagon I've used to haul shit in when we go to the beach. Kid walks. We setup our spot emptying the wagon. Then we took him for a walk and he sat in the wagon.

To answer your question. Who knows.

I suppose parenting adults on this forum parallels parenting children at home.

    Fair point.
