Ya it’s a full 4K rescan from film. Like the HD rescan, transition scenes are still garbage as it was originally on tape. They’ve been working on it since the deal was signed in 2019.

I've gotten used to it since it's been on Hulu. It's unfortunate that they shot Seinfeld on 4 perf 35mm which has a 1.33 (4:3) aspect ratio so it'll always be cropped. Friends was shot on 3 perf 35mm which has a 1.78 (16:9) aspect ratio so the friends episodes aren't cropped and show extra shit on the side. There's a ton of bloopers that came from that, from cameras, to stand-ins showing up that aren't the actual actors haha.

I geeked out over this shit years ago.
