obviously you LS swap the RX7 for reliability
I think there was a guy who tracked a lot in Edmonton who did just that, iIRC. I think he went by Zhao on the now defunct 780tUnErZ site. He was supposedly a very competent track driver but I don't know if he truly raced. I'm not sure if I ended up meeting him without realizing while I lived there.

I loved my S2k. The only reason I don't still have it is because it's a great third car, and I don't yet have garage space for that many. I definitely get why some people wouldn't like them though. Loud, slow unless it's being driven at 11/10ths, overpriced.

It checked a few boxes for me, the primary ones probably being 'as close to a motorcycle without being a motorcycle', and nostalgia. I don't think I can name another car that so closely aligns with the intersection of those two things (for me).
I think Rob in the video did sum it up. If mine didn't climb in value so much, and also I had room for it I probably would have kept my S2000 long term.

He's annoying but he just took delivery of his AMG GT Black Series. Pretty awesome swan song for the GT.

I wish I could be annoying enough on the internet to drive a GT black series

Gotta be creative if you're looking for fun cars that haven't been 'poster car' inflated yet.

Not sure if 15yr rule still applies since 335d was sold in Canada and the E91 was also sold, just not in combination. But 335d m-sport touring is what I'm after when I move to Europe. The anti-M car! how dare you have a fast, well handling diesel...

There’s a manual M57 swapped E91 on BaT right now I really wish I could have. My 335d was awesome in BC last week, did a couple thousand km and averaged 6.1L/100km (8 cents per km) fuel cost.

That's a really cool car. I wouldn't actually want that one, but its pretty awesome.

Savage Geese is right. Cars don't have the feel and drive like they use to.
I do enjoy his car reviews. But he too much of a Hyundai fanboy. He needs to incorporate ownership and factor target audience of who the vehicles were designed for into his reviews. It would be a lot more informative.

Yes, if annoying internet presence got people nice cards, the Everyday Car Pic thread would be much more exciting.

I dare say it would create a real Hallmark moment in a lot of people's lives.

I really like their channel, one of the reasons we became interested in the LC we bought was their very deep dives on that car and its various changes through just a few model years. Great guys IMO.
