Learning to wrap, so far I’ve spent the last couple of days cleaning, clay baring, cleaning some more, clay barring some more, breaking some trim, and getting the car to as good as it will get for a car fast approaching 300k on the odometer. This is panel 1 attempt 1, definitely learned about corners and lifting the vinyl too much to get air bubbles out. Edges aren’t tucked as I will obviously be pulling this piece in the morning and trying again.

Tomorrow a family friend is going to stop by to help me figure out the more complex pieces (he runs a wrap shop), so I am *hoping* I get the hang of it and can get it done, not wasting $700 of imported vinyl

Wrapping is miserable lol, I don't have the patience for it. Your first attempt looks good

10 hours later, I’d call it a 5 footer, we will see how it holds up over the next couple days with air bubbles, edges, etc.

I need to find a new hood, I wasn’t happy with this one but largely it’s because the hood is so rough and caused a lot of grief, but that can come later. Later this week I will add back the door bumpers and rear emblems. Glad I learned a new skill, I get why people charge so much to install this stuff.

@jwslam will be happy as I finally got back all 4 door bumpers on, and I got the black Honda and Element logos put on the back for a final touch. Still need to find another black hood in good shape so I can wrap it.

    Overall, feels good man

Oh man, I couldn't even wrap my ep3 tail lights with a red film. It looks great! Hope I see it in person sometime.

Also I need your help beyond, I want to put in extended wheel studs and open end lug nuts (current offset as lugs not grabbing enough thread for me), but finding some for a reasonable price (eg under $100 for lugs that aren’t “tuner nuts”) is proving a challenge. Dorman maybe? Open to suggestions and best pricing on arp wheel studs
