Default Non-Alcoholic Beer - Anyone else?

Curious if anyone else is on this train...

I know... I know, what's the point without a bit of a buzz, but on a weeknight, after dinner or during the day when you want something refreshing but still be productive (I generally log in back to work ~8-9), I find them to be super refreshing.

I started with the Heineken 0 which (its a low bar), tastes better than regular Heineken to me, but the budget buyer in me goes for the costco $19/24 at Costco Budweiser Zero. Only like 50 calories too...

I have enjoyed the Partake brews in the past, and had the One for the Road Sasaberry Blonde Ale (which was meh)

Erdinger is the best one I've had. Almost the same price though

Neil4Speed, I expect you expected to see me here, even though there’s no wrist candy here or discussion on tax matters. I had no idea you were angling this way… giving up bacon next?

Agreed on the Erdinger and Partake offerings, rather solid. I’m not sure of the spread in price between Heineken and Budweiser, but the Heineken definitely tastes better. I’ll have to try the Village pale ale.

Not entirely the same, but in a similar vein, I do enjoy Crodino, which is billed as a non-alcoholic aperitif… a tad too sweet for some, but you could cut it with club soda. Kombucha is another refreshing drink which isn’t too sweet, as well as properly (hot or cold) brewed iced tea. Messing about with virgin cocktails is also fun.

Stay thirsty (and sober), my friends.

I like beer as much as the next guy. And I am always game for keeping the alcohol consumption lighter.

But non alcoholic beer has next to no appeal for me.

    Is that just me?

I’ve tried the Upside Dawn golden ale and their Cerveza and preferred the golden ale. Both were quite good though. Shipping is free with 2 or more six packs and it’s always arrived in just under a week.

I’m going to try some of the other suggestions in this thread as it would be nice to pick something up locally too.

PC Blonde Brew for the win! Seriously it's the cheapest and the best! $5 for a 12pack. Blonde and Red brews are available. I've tried a virtually all of the non alcoholic beers and these are my favs. Having said that it's hard to pay alcoholic beer prices for non alcoholic beer!

That is the important distinction, price. If non-alcoholic beer costs the same as pop, yeah I would drink it for sure.

I can't drink beer for medical reasons and the non alc beer, I'd have no desire to test out.
Reason for beer is a cheap buzz. Never liked the taste of it.
    Hard liquor all day.
