    Default HDMI connection issue

I had a 10 year old samsung hooked up to our cameras at work and it shit the bed. I hooked it up to a 15 year old LCD and now the signal wont come through. Is there a specific HDMI for something that old?

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

It is likely an HDCP issue. Possibly the old TV is actually too old to use the DVR or whatever you're hooking up to.

You can try powering down the DVR and TV. unplug both. Plug the DVR back in and give it a minute to boot, then plug the TV in.
