Just watched a replay of the 10m mixed Air pistol event. I have no doubt it takes skill and a steady hand, but holy fuck are these people not athletes. It might as well be an e-sport.

I mean seriously, you compare the overweight fuckers who do this sport to the lady who went full tilt for almost 4 hours to win women's road cycling and I have questions.

I'm sure the training camp and weight cut for air pistol was intense.

The only cool olympic shooting sport is Skeet/Trap, or biathlon in winter. No overly nerdy gear and in the case of Biathlon, serious athletes.
