They're a dumb party with too little planning and representation to earn the amount of stage time they get.
Elizabeth May should've stepped down AND given her seat to Anamanamillé so they could squeeze a foot part way in the door, but she didn't. Fuck them.
Few wants to live on Van Island. And we all know where the center of universe is at.

This is a disingenuous statement perpetuated by the CPC and its supporters and you know it. It's a laughable one too. Example....a lot of Democratic party members and elected officials these days are self proclaimed socialists... where's the equivalent in the CPC? Another example, some members and supporters of the CPC are openly racist. Where's the equivalent in the Democratic party I'm curious to know. Ya I know what the response to this one would be..."well how do you define racism?"... what about abortion rights? Gayrights? Trans rights?
The listgoes on, the CPC is much closer to the Republicans that they would love you to believe. anyways I'm out, nice to visit beyond every one in while and see what you Calgarians are up to.
Which CPC candidates were openly racist? Which CPC candidates were against abortion/woman’s rights, gay rights or trans rights? This is an honest question as I thought O’Toole made clear in recent weeks that he supports woman’s rights and the gay/trans community (unless CBC interviews and news is fake).

If you are basing your vote on who supports a certain candidate and not the candidate itself you must be a few cents short of a dollar. People who are racist, against abortion rights and against trans/gay rights support all parties in Canada so by your own logic you should abstain from voting. An easy example here is many voters in Quebec. I would also argue that O’Toole is much less racist than Trudeau as there are no reports of him painting himself a different color and dressing like a minority. Based on Trudeaus track record over the last 6 I would confidently argue that every single candidate has a better record of supporting woman compared to Trudeau.

Election over. More debt incurred by one of the worst leaders in modern-democratic history. Canada is in for another 2-4 years of record spending, record debt-loads, and scandals. I would recommend exchanging some Loonies and TSX investment for American dollars or S&P investments as inflation is going to be disgusting and the Canadian dollar will likely weaken quite a lot.

That is like asking which liberals are not rapists …

Those are some key issues that are baked into the party, I don’t think many people believed the tool when he said those things. I am glad you did.

There is likely no stupider thing ingrained in the political system/voter than partisanship.

Oh sorry, I guess we shouldn’t judge someone by their actions and what they say and instead judge them based solely on the political party they are associated with hey? I guess this is why you can blindly forgive Trudeaus racism, sexism, and other misgivings and support him…simply because he is associated to the liberal party?

I truly don’t understand people who believe Canada would all of a sudden turn into a more racist place or start prisoning woman who want abortions if the CPC were in power. It’s just dumb rhetoric and bs spewed by uneducated people.

When I heard the Prime Minister got re-elected, I didn't believe it.

Wow looking at the (close to) final numbers... If I was an NDP soyboy I'd be pretty fuckin pissed to see that the NDP had over twice the votes that the BLOC has, but only 3/4 the seats. System is fooked

Maybe the ndp should only run in 20% of ridings too. Western Canada needs learn from the bloc to reform (heh) our voting strategy.

LOL of course this only comes out after the election. What a scumbag, he'll fit in nicely with Trudeau's team.

I looked her up. I don't recall hearing anything about her.

Also killed electoral reform for Trudeau. I hear she was a month shy of her sweet federal pension, such a shame.

I kindof wish the CPC didn’t run a candidate in Jagmeet’s riding, because he would have lost and that would have been hilarious.

I was just thinking how ridiculous the election results are from a geographic riding perspective, especially if you remove the 3 seats from the territories which are massive spaces for their populations.

If you looked at this map without knowing anything about Canadian Politics, which parties would you think governed?

I'd think Blue, Teal, Orange, Red... yet we have basically the opposite.
