Its so corrupt. Especially when the snc exec is getting charged with fixing $120k in campaign contributions to the libs. Then they get the deferred prosecution agreement. Ridiculars. Im sure the snowflake sunny ways voters will give them another ethics free pass

If you ever wondered if gerald butts was a greasy piece of shit, here's some more evidence. Gloating about winning the seat count by targeting ridings meanwhile the country is more divided than ever.

Currency devaluation is a real risk at this point, that's why.

Sounds like the conservatives just need to learn to play the game better…

He's basically saying that the Libs have all the seats that matter.

If there's any major party not employing some math geeks, they are idiots. Moneyball works, GB might be a piece of shit, but this ain't why.

To me it reeks of "we just dragged all of canada down into the toilet over the last 6 years, but we won and stayed in power so fuck all you dummies"

I wish there was a requirement to actually care about the country to participate in government. Not just power and money grabs for connected friends and govt contracts.

Truth. The game is seats so no point in getting butt hurt over popular vote. It is what it is, similar to how popular vote doesn’t win the presidency in the US.

Im not sure what the conservative strategy could be going forward. Certain ridings im sure will never swing to the right simply based on the segment of society that resides there. Should downtown toronto dwellers be in charge of electing the government that has final say on resource development in western canada? Maybe if we could somehow classify the st. Lawrence as a national protected ecological reserve and ban shipping oil through there it could make a difference.

Let Ontario and Quebec keep the Liberals. They seem happy with them.

Why everyone else keeps following along though is beyond me.

    905. They vote blue, Conservatives win. They vote red, we are stuck with morons for leaders.

Given O'Toole's ties to the GTA, I expected him to do better there but it was also a very short campaign.

Looks like o’toole’s days are numbered, turns out appealing to liberals in Toronto who consider you an untouchable isn’t a great policy

As someone who really wants the Conservatives to do well, I can see this being a longer term positive. Can anyone get Ambrose and Rempel to run the show?

You can want the Conservatives to do well, or you can want Rempel to run the show. Pick one.
