Jeep Wagoneer? Didn't see the option for wood paneling though.

    Love our Palisade...

    Test drove:
-Telluride: long wait and salesman were uninterested, we preferred the interior layout of the Palisade, but preferred the Telluride exterior.
-Atlas: Everything was too hard and plastic, things like seats were all manually operated compared to electronic in Palisade/Telluride. way less options overall.
-Highlander: Close 3rd.. but priced slightly higher for comparable trims

Didnt test drive any of the Yukon type line, for the same price it was the entry level model and didnt see the point.
@Buster the comments regarding Atlas. No power rear seats or anything? Really?!

I'm not sure any of the family haulers would have power rear seats. you want the captains chairs to flip and fold out of the way...maybe that can happen power versions, but i doubt it. Also I don't sit back there, so fuck them.

I saw a Telluride in person and I agree but the Palisade is nice as well. Definitely way better looking than Q7 for sure.

Once you see the weird clamshell rear hatch on ALL of the VAG suvs, you can't unsee it.

The first row of back seats in the GL are power flip/fold to access the next. Hard to give up hahaha

XC90 wins all. My parent's ride is a 7 seater hauler and has decent trunk space with all the seats up. Just buy the T8 hybrid and boom

I dont like power rear seats one way or the other. I would probably de-select them if I could.

Is there a current MB offering that isn't going to be a money pit?
That is the nature of MB. They simply fall apart.

I should clarify. By rear powered seats I meant flipping them down or going flat. From the trunk of the Palisade you can flip the 2nd and 3rd row flat with a button, with the Atlas its all manual.

I am surprised no one has suggested the Lincoln Aviator. My Aunt has long been a Lexus owner and her husband a BMW guy. She was tired of Lexus and was ready to pull the trigger on an X5 like her husband, I suggested she just have a look at the Aviator. From the first drive she was smitten. It gets many many compliments. So far it has been zero issues, and had fantastic power, and seats 7. Good option if you don't need the Navigator level of size. I was very shocked at the improvements to the Lincoln interiors.

I was quite happy to get the manual version back. I don't like powered flip seats
