Default Where has Bud Light Platinum gone?

I've been to numerous liquor stores and no one is carrying Bud Light Platinum. Did they pull out of Calgary?

I haven't seen it in years, too bad in a way as it was the smoothest strong beer I've probably ever had, though therein also laid the danger. I recommend Red Horse if strong beer is your thing, a bit tricky to find but prob 1 in 3 stores will have it.

Believe it or not, yep. It tasted almost identical to Bud Light and I thought it was 8% but Google says 6% so 'stronger' beer might be a better description. Oh and only 137 calories, less than regular Bud (145).

Forgot it existed. Searched on Liquor Connect and nada so I'd assume it's out of Alberta or Canada

Is Red Horse also a similar light strong beer?

Hmm, does it taste similar? Which liquor stores have you seen it in?

Errrmm, not really, it's a smooth-ish tasting 8% beer, but at 8% you have to make some sacrifices. Large Liquor Depots and Coop Liquors have them in individual tall boys (as if 8% wasn't enough), but that means you can buy just one to try. Rare to find in 6 pack bottles but if you're gonna go deep, go deep. It's a Pilipino beer imported by San Miguel breweries. I'm thinking for you it will be half way between Colt 45 and Bud Light Platinum, and that is a wide spectrum.
