The imax seats at Chinook are fucking terrible, hadn't been to an imax moving in a good while and forgot how uncomfortable they are.

Crowfoot is awesome now after the Reno. There was a beyonder that worked on the upgrade. Kudos to them.

Went to this last night, pretty good but entirely predictable (Spoiler:
other then the random 5 minute mission impossible scene
). sat 2 rows behind the DBOX seats, those looked entirely uncomfortable for the amount of shaking they're getting hit with

Was thinking about DBOX for my 2nd viewing but someone who did it said it wasn't worth it as it buzzes even on some dramatic scenes that makes no sense.

Is there a sex scene it buzzes through?

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Yeah they kept that shit as PG-13 as possible, comical scene as they're about to do the deed and then it just transitions to them in bed talking while mostly clothed

As comical as the super odd Tom Cruise saying thank you before the movie started?

They’ve been doing that for a lot of movies since Covid.

Actually surprised MI films never broke $100M weekends.

But tickets are more expensive these days.
I would've thought so as well. But apparently $100m openings are rare. This is the first non-super hero movie to do it in forever, was another stat I read somewhere.

I am kinda going against the rest of the thread here, BUT...

The plot is horrible and dumb. You can see every plot twist from 10 miles off, and is just a complete rehash of the original. This one kinda felt like Star Wars and the death star. Fly down a trench (canyon) and shoot bombs down the ventilation shaft.

Having said that, the cinematics are amazing. Visually, the movie is a 10/10 and worth seeing the movie for that alone.

Pretty much summed it up. Disappointed they used .50 cal machine gun sounds for the aircraft gun

Also the bird strike emergency procedures part made no sense. Can’t use F-35s because of GPS jammers? Don’t tell the Chinese the one weakness!

The DBOX seats were shaking the entire theatre floor in Red Deer last night.

Enjoyed the film. Summer blockbusters are a great thing!

If you don't like this movie due to overanalyzing, you're gayer than the beach scene. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
