As an ex-Cambodian Tire employee, I like the Costco ones purely because of the no-hassle warranty.
Pretty important is to get it somewhere that has locations that are convenient for you, because if you need a replacement, and aren't near the place that give you the warranty, then the warranty is worthless.
People seem to like the Costco warranty. Napa has the most locations in smaller towns.
I have no opinions on quality differences between brands.

The guys from Post 2&3 are right. *Sorry - posters... It would be wrong for me to assume their genders.
Both are right. I'm done with CT batteries. They never last through the warranty period and are a pain to deal with when warranty is needed.
I buy a lot from CT, but not batteries unless forced. They make it a hassle.

Costco!
Another vote for Costco batteries. Every time an OEM battery starts to go it gets replaced with Kirkland after my fair share of issues with CT and autozone batteries.

Get an AGM battery
Thanks for the comments on this topic.
Costco seems to only sell AGM batteries that are Energizer brand. Any thoughts on this brand?

Go into the warehouse and pick up a Kirkland battery, they don’t list it on the website but lots on the rack in store.
No optima or Odyssey lovers in this crowd ?
Indeed. I thought Optima was the choice not so long ago. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I think optima had the greatest marketing and decent construction at one point. Both have gotten worse.

Quad the price for a battery that's 33% better.
I don't know if it's better at all compared to other AGM batteries. If so, it's pretty subtle. In any event, not worth the upcharge.
