    Default 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz

How are we not talking about this? Looks like the result of a @Buster and @ExtraSlow wet dream

I’d dare say we haven’t seen a true Aussie inspired Ute in North America since the subaru Baja?

And here is Doug to Doug-splain to us wtf this is:

I dont think they hit the sweet spot on size. I don't think I could hang my bikes off the tailgate in the Santa Cruz with enough room for the rear tires of the bike.

I'd still buy the Ridgeline over this.

    "Doug-splain" is exactly right.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

    This.

The bed needed to be longer.

My issue is the height (now that the GF has a 29er) with tires sitting on the bumper anywhere but dead middle on the big bikes… either way though. Simple solution:

    ^^ That's a pretty neat setup.

Saves the paint on your tailgate as well from the pad rubbing.

That's a solution, but I would prefer to not drive around with my tailgate down like that, and have a permanent setup in my bed.

If you need a backup cam on something this small….

But yeah… had to see through a tailgate pad/bike tire anyways
