Default Jeep Patriot: Sell it or keep it?

I’m trying to decide if I should sell or keep my Jeep Patriot and looking for some opinions.

It’s a 2012 Limited 4x4 that I factory ordered in 2011 with 2.4L, 5-speed manual transmission, and all the options.

It has 132,000km and just before the pandemic I had the transmission and front differential rebuilt ($$$), then replaced the throttle body and front passenger ball joint.

Last year due to working from home I only put 1300 km on it, and this year have barely even used it with only 20km so far.

It needs new brakes, driver front CV axle, and today after charging up the battery the CE light is on.

It’s been as outstanding vehicle, incredibly fuel efficient and the 4X4 is so capable in the snow, but I’m trying to decide if it’s worth putting more money into this 10 year old vehicle, or I should let it go to someone who will appreciate it and get more use out of it.

Any thoughts or opinions on this one?

A manual Patriot is pretty close to worthless these days, they are not easy to sell on the used market and not that desirable.

If you took all the hate that Killramos has for Nissan, squared it and put a zero on the end, you'd have my level of hate for the Jeep Patriot.
I'm glad others find some redeeming qualities about them.
    I recommend selling it.

well, without knowing more information, kinda hard to offer you advice.

but yea, while you may like the patriot, they are not desirable at all by the vast majority. Someone will probably buy it as a first vehicle for their 16 year old kid to learn to drive in, but, if you are expecting more than like 4-5k from selling it, you are better off keeping it. no payments, cheaper insurance, good winter beater for you who appreciates it... That alone tells me you should keep it.

Many people don't even consider them a real jeep. Built on the old neon platform, and meant as the entry level to get into the jeep brand along with the Compass. Not many people appreciate it.

Assuming that you replace this vehicle with another one, if say keep it if you like it! How much do you figure all the repairs would cost?

What would you replace it with
