Not super stoked on the payload, but also not surprised. Will be curious to see the price and mpg of the hybrid

I've been waiting on the specs for this truck to be released before making a decision on my towing vehicle and the payload isn't great but pretty much inline with the F150 Powerboost. I'm curious as to what payload is with the hybrid setup, the F150 goes from a payload of 3250 to 2190 when moving from Ecoboost to Powerboost. Curious if the Tundra will see a similar drop.
Yes, hybrid payload and towing drops due to extra weight. The Hybrid system has the same setup as powerboost. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Will be curious to see the MPG vs the Ford. Looks like a great truck IMO, but I am still contemplating a truck camper that could be swung with a F150 HDPP relatively easily.. that being said this thing should tow really well with the hybrid (but I’m expecting a serious price tag as it only comes with in the luxury trims)
Yup, the problem is if the payload drops even more with the hybrid or if this 1900# number is with the hybrid.
I like it. It’ll be like a ecoboost F150 with some actual quality and reliability.
Hopefully it’s priced well, looks like a good truck.
