Imagine a IMSA 3rd gen camaro collided with a Rocket Bunny body kit. Its my next project. Will be aiming for 800-900hp naturally aspirated LS.

I've never seen anything like what I envision, but here is an IMSA Camaro for a general idea.

My whole life has been a mid life crisis when it comes to cars and I don't even know if I have a dream car anymore. Would sure love to get a Lambo/McLaren/Ferrari one day which I am sure once I do, I will be bored of fast enough anyway.

Buddy of mine is fixing up an 02 esprit. Waiting on some new parts like wheels and tires and some suspension components. Can't wait to take that car for a spin.

They sound so good. Surprisingly loud too; my dads LC500 is almost as loud as my straight piped ISF was.
It’s because of convertible. It sounds pretty much identical to my stock exhaust RCF with the top up.

    But yea, what a car!

team_mclaren's NSX is my ultimate dream car.. Early NA2 NSX, w/ pop ups, targa top, 6spd, and the 3.2L V6.

Attainable dream car is whatever Cayman/991-T I can eventually afford.

I was thinking from outside the car (e.g. following behind, cold start, etc). The ones I've heard are way less rowdy than the LC but perhaps my memory is foggy. I should look up a comparison on youtube or something haha.

Edit: @rage2 if you know someone that has an rcf, I could hijack my dads car and we could check with a decibel-o-meter

Or based on some of the conversations I have had with dealers over the past few weeks.

    Even cars on the lots

I hope you're not a white, balding male because I'm pretty sure they are not legally permitted to purchase something other than a Corvette.
Definitely don't fit in that category lol but 100% you nailed it, and once fully bald they're only legally permitted to upgrade to something big that can tow all the things

There’s a 911 variety for everyone, can’t really go wrong with one of those.

If I was buying my midlife crisis car today, it’d be a v12 vantage with manual transmission.

Edit: @ OP a Jaguar f type of some variety might fit the bill. Also you need to tell us if you’re looking for used or new? Makes a big diff on budget for some cars.
Used probably, once this market regains it's sanity.
I like the f type, but heard Jaguar has become less reliable since they got bought out in 08?
