Yes. The 0-60 time and my butt dyno all indicate loss of power. There’s also other interesting side effects when it pulls power, I lose the exhaust pops and burbles. Car throws itself into protection more when dialing things back. The worst I’ve had it was the car pulling back to around 340hp. Felt like driving an M2.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Yes it does but ethanol 93 > ethanol 91.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Does anyone know why the Ethanol blends are worse? I see people run E85 because you can push higher boost and make way more power. Lots of people love that.
Do the ethanol blends just have lower density and you need a tune to compensate or are they just using shittier gas and then bumping the octane up with the ethanol ?
Less energy density means worse fuel economy and ethanol has shitty reactions with many older fuel system components (particularly gaskets & seals) and fucks them up earlier. Which thankfully has zero impact to the environment according to leading panels of teenage girls. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The extreme boost examples are true, but represent <1% of cases and the last thing those people care about in those cases is fuel economy.
That gas we get here is also like E10 or E15.
I'll take Shell 93 over the competition's 94.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
