I’ve been buying 5000-6000L a year at CO-OP and definitely noticed the reduced rebate last year.

Apparently Shell 91 on the west coast is now Shell 93 with 10% alcohol.
That could certainly be. Much of the West coast fuel is supplied from BP Cherry Point in Washington. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Ours come from Scotford.
It was 4c/L in 2020. Didn't really matter as my mileage dropped at least 40% WFH.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
FWIW I got my ethanol tester and tested the Shell 91 in McKenzie and Okotoks - both said 0% ... yaaaaay (for now)
I was told that 91 in BC and Manitoba now contain ethanol because of provincial mandatesThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I just filled up at Shell on 32nd Ave. NW and it's still ethanol free 91 according to the pump.
Just an update on my last post. Fueled up this morning and now they have covered up the ethanol free 91 and have the generic may contain up to 10% ethanol. Boo. Where's a guy to fuel up now? Also over $1.70/L is pretty gross.
The Airdrie one I filled up at last night still has the ethanol-free 91 sticker showing.
Vpower 93 with ethanol is coming soon. It’s already at a station in Vancouver.
https://www.shell.ca/en_ca/motorists...-gasoline.html
Once your local station gets 93, 91 and 93 will have ethanol since 91 will be a blend of 87 and 93 with ethanol.
LoL, so I guess that will be something super fair like - what, $2/L??!This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
