Kylington is finally looking like he can ben an NHL player, which wasn't certain the last few years. Not sure he'll ever live up to the initial hype though.
Valamaki suffers from the same thing. Far too much initial hype. Really seems to have fucked him up mentally. Must be brutal to be such a high prospect then have years of your career fucked up by injuries and pandemic. If he can turn into an 82 game guy, that's a win at this point even if he's third line. IDGAF if he's a top line guy.

TLDR, Never praise any prospect, assume they are all replacement-level players, profit.

As for Valimaki, since drafted in 2017 has met 4 flames head coaches, got to play 24 games in 18-19 when everyone saw the talent, tears his acl missing 19-20, comes back into 20-21 and gets hit with the covid issue season plus another HC change gets 49 games in that displayed a mix of talent and young mistakes/lack of consistency as noted above, then this year when hopes/pressure to make a spot finally for a full season Sutter/GM bring in BigZ/Gub/Re-signs stone and then Kylington in that window with Coleman suspended comes out of nowhere with the speed/movement they needed and all that results in Valimaki being in a position that he's not in the top 6 this year. I would still bet he'll be a 2nd liner in the not so distant future (whether that is with the Flames or he'll be like Bennett being wasted and in need of a trade that hopefully benefits both teams)

Just some guy @mymzak shared some tweets about being denied with signs. Definitely a pro ukraine user so who knows....did see others tweeting out about signs being confiscated. Maybe it's all bs who knows.

I'll tune into the oilers game to see how things go there. Unlike Calgary their actively asking for a big Ukrainian turn out and will sing the Ukrainian anthem.

Essentially an elite first line, top end shut down line, a very good "second" line and a strong "third" line.

I don't remember a time the flames were this deep.

That is for sure a solid lineup, no denying it. I believe the Flames sit at around 6th or 7th in league scoring. I feel the Flames and the Avs are the teams to beat out of the West this season.

I think he's like Dube and is pretty versatile in where he plays.
