By weird do you mean he used his normal three players that happen to be the only three that have scored in a shootout so far this season? (JG - 2 for 2, Tkachuk - 1 for 2 and Backlund - 1 for 1 stats prior to last night)

The Flames are 5-3-2 in their last 10 and their last 2 wins against "good teams" were wins over Tampa and Colorado, two of the favourites to win the cup. They all but have the division wrapped up and they have beaten lots of bad teams in the last month. Step away from the edge people.

The flames are terrible at this. Fuckwad was clearly hurt, it we wait until his cap space is useless to declare it. Shoukd have sent his for surgery on Valentine's day and 1) had a chance of. Getting him back and 2) had the option to get someone else.
