One of my pet peeves is people who boo or chant against the refs. That is an incredibly hard job, and they make like 50% or less compared to anyone else on the ice. It would be cool if they were perfect, but let's be realistic, they are very good.

And anyone who yells at the refs in minor hockey needs to be sterilized, beaten and raped.

I'm not one to boo or chant against refs cause it doesn't change anything and you're right, it is a hard job, but sometimes they are just blatantly bad at it. I get that it's a high speed game with things happening all around them and sometimes they're trying to split hairs and don't have the luxury of HD replays like we do, but sometimes there are just some really bad calls that I can't figure out how they justify them.

And then there are the refs who are caught trying to control the game (Tim Peele, Stephane Auger)...

Anyway, at least reffing had no impact on the outcome for this game. That's the goal.
