    From the 960 the fan during yesterdays drive, they mention Kadri would be a great fit in fact has been for years. Now lets bring over Paul Stastny for the 3rd line and we are set. Am I wrong that I actually feel more excited for this version of the Flames than it would had JG and MK stayed? Lets just think worse case scenario that JG/MK era in 5-7 more years continues to produce nothing in the post-season. Follow by trades and a complete rebuilt. Seems to be the same script for Calgary for decades. This may...be a nice change from the norm forced by circumstance which could.. who knows. time will tell.

    I hope we can retain Lucic in this. Kadri is sandpaper to play against, Luc is the sledgehammer keep the other team in line.

    Word is Monahan trade is also imminent. (I thought he was injured and cant be traded?) So that may cost the 2024 1st round pick we have.

    I really wanted to see JG and MK's reaction if the flames do end up wining it all with these trades or at least make the finals.
