I'm not smart enough to be a GM, but the case the radio guys made for pushing chips in this season was enough to convince me. Team is rolling, playing the system, production up and down the lineup. And could be hard to keep the band together for next season because of cap/contracts.

He's a heck of a player on a great contract. And he's going to get favourable matchups playing on our 2nd or 3rd lines.

I didnt like him when we played the kings.. which is a good thing. Also he was a highlight for the French when they made their cup run

He was awesome in his time with Vancouver too....another great reason for his addition is that he played on lines with Monahan in his 67's days and Monny credits his development at that level to a couple guys including him.
