Is there anything related to food that sabad66 isn't a thorough authority on? No!
I got directly off my pussy and sprinted to the nearest Costco with a mask and a machete to cut through the crowds. Came home with a couple of these and I think they will fit the bill.

If I get my jimmies rustled, I might pick up a third bird, but so far, I think I'll smoke one hilariously slowly on the Weber Smokey Mountain and then the other will either go on the Alexis or into the oven... TBD.

+Rep to sabad for being the best that we've all become accustomed to.
*as soon as my +Rep ability recharges...
Haha thx for the kind words but truth be told I just spend way too much time in the Costco group and like sharing good info with my internet homies. I am in back to back virtual meetings most mornings and the 5 mins in between where I can’t do any real work I just check to see what’s new for me to waste money on.

I actually need to get a bird still, hoping they still have fresh ones tmrw afternoon. I’m going to follow the Alton brown brining and aromatics recipe this year. Reviews are amazing so I have my hopes up

Got a tenderloin roast as well for some extra meat variety. I like turkey day

I'm in the same boat; just 2 of us. Doing a whole turkey seems like overkill.
Get a turkey breast roll, you can even get them stuffed. We did that last year… it was perfect for a taste of roast turkey without the giant bird

Turkey breast is the worst part of the bird. Hope that's cheaper than real turkey.

I will fucking pinch&twist your shitty little A-cups until you beg for forgiveness!!!
It's astonishingly more than a giant turkey full of bones and giblets no one can eat. Obviously. I think the sign said "turkey" was $6/kg and mine was $14/kg, so clearly all the 23%'s that I've been saving from not eating the goink hairs of DoorDash drivers has allowed me this luxury!
Consider yourself dis-invited and me & Disoblige are gonna have double turkey before double Dutch Rudders.
I will punch you right in the baby maker!

Thanksgiving is the only meal where the sides are way better than the main. Gravy, stuffing, mash, etc.

But a properly cooked breast is to die for. As long as TPiM doesn't ES fried rice it, we bueno.

I like meat loaf as much as the next guy, but not turkey meat loaf which is what this is. Seriously, it's like "will it blend" and "hydraulic press channel" did a poultry themed collab.

God Dammit - I ain't asking again! I'm gonna feed this to someone's dad before I fuck them if this type of blasphemy doesn't get cleared up, right meow!

You just watch... I've bought the canvas, and I'm gonna make that canvas be part of some art. And you're gonna fuckin hear about it. And we'll all be the better for it, after it's done. After I'm done my art.

Yeah, I've had Prime Rib the last 1 or 2 years and while that's awesome, it's partly why I'm horny to go back to bird.

This is the right take. White meat is for the dog, or maybe your in-laws.

There is no better bite of meat on the bird than the medallions. If you know, you agree, and if you don't know, you're part of the problem.

Which part is the medallion? Quick google tells me it’s a white meat tenderloin underneath the breast?

The white meat is the best part of the bird, if the bird is prepped and smoked properly. Throw a little gravy or cran on there and Bob becomes your uncle.
