Got that muh-fucka the second I was eligible. Its amazing how nice nurses are when a 30+ year old man explains to them that he's a huge pussy when it comes to needles.

I was extremely reluctant early on but came around watching everything unfold and am now double vaxxed with caveats applied to it's overall success on my part as many are aware. Things seems to be improving finally though so hopefully in the end this will have all been worth it.

I still think the smart play overall for the human species would have been to let it savage us all dark ages style and see who was left standing, but alas, I apparently do have a heart.

I was the same as Bob. My main concern came about when a report came out that children were much more susceptible to covid with the newer "variants". Whereas we can all make our own choices, kids can not (where they go, who they meet with, what sort of work environment their parents are in that may bring covid home). I doubt I'd be vaccinated as quickly without that.

If I was unvaccinated, now with the very solid, unambiguous stats available to us (which only recently started to be available in September), the vaccine definitely makes sense to get. Unlike most here though, I respect people's decisions not to get it.

I had first shot in July and ended up 5 days later in the ER with heart pain that lasted about 15 days. Doctor advised against the 2nd shot until they can do further testing / study on my particular case so I have been sitting in limbo for weeks.

For reference I am a 35 year old generally healthy dude and I have never done coke or other hard drugs, taken energy drinks, pre workout or other sketchy muscle bro crap that would add strain to your heart. (questions asked by the ER and family doctor lol).

Got both my shots, waited to see what side effects would be, chose AZ since the fellas ain't clotting! Also got it for whatever form of protection it might give to not pass to my 1 y/o.

I know quite a few unvaxxed ppl and tbh they can probably wait it out. Young, fit, healthy, 99.97% survival rate, I get it, sure. Selfish? Idk. At some point the govt will surrender. We know covid zero is not possible and it never was. The vax and boosters are going to be part of our life moving forward just like the flu vax. Get it if you want. If I breathe on you and you die, well fk man that’s on you? I rather get covid than a booster lol gimme them antibodies. Haven’t had an off day in almost two years, a covid experience gimme more street cred alongside being double astra lol
