I wonder if I have already caught it. I got a couple nasty colds back to back in Sept/Oct 2019 and a minor something something in July (never went for a Covid test for that one) when things opened up. Anyone gone for antibodies test? If so where? Expensive?

I went to Ichor a couple of times. I think it was around $75.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

    Yes thanks

$80.00 Qualitative Antibody test is 99% accurate and is a regular blood draw. This test only detects natural immunity. Results are available within 24-48 hours and offers a negative or positive result. I recommend this test if you are satisfied with a negative or positive result without a reference value, looking for a faster turnaround time or if you are currently vaccinated and want to see if you ever encountered the virus naturally. Results will include a QR code.

All good, I was rambling and things can be easily mis-interpreted.

If Medic has been jabbed 3x, that's fine. You have to make your health choices for you, wear 1-2-3 masks if you have to.

Covid is here to stay. I get it, health care workers and the system are over worked, stressed, tired. They were heroes treating patients when there wasn't a vax and now there is one, they are zeroes if they don't take the vax - that leaves me torn.

If you decide to not get jabbed and want to wait it out and see what happens, that is also your choice. You can work in a restaurant, just not eat in one. You can still get groceries and take-out. Get yourself a nice tv with surround sound and watch movies at home. Maybe you can attend outdoor events Idk. You can travel by car within Canada. It's your life.

It can tell vaccine antibodies from natural ones?

Natural Immunity should definitely be Considered, especially since Research shows it is 13x more durable and longer lasting than the vax, that the vaxx'd have 6x the risk of infection, 7x the risk of symptomatic infection and greater risk for hospitalization compared to the Naturally immune.

SO what ever happened to Antibody Testing?

I had first shot in July and ended up 5 days later in the ER with heart pain that lasted about 15 days. Doctor advised against the 2nd shot until they can do further testing / study on my particular case so I have been sitting in limbo for weeks.

For reference I am a 35 year old generally healthy dude and I have never done coke or other hard drugs, taken energy drinks, pre workout or other sketchy muscle bro crap that would add strain to your heart. (questions asked by the ER and family doctor lol).
Sorry to hear. The number of “non-internet” cases I know of had similar reactions is so misaligned with the stats being quoted. It’s not like everyone is dropping, far from it, but statistically it’s supposed to be so rare that on average we shouldn’t know about more than 1 case, if that. But I know of about 4 or 5 and my social circle is not very big.

    Which vaccine was it?

Don’t beat yourself up too bad, the nature of being stupid is you tend to have no idea who dumb you really are.

A family member from Portland. Almost fanatical, hardly leaves the house, double mask and gloves if he does venture out and if so it’s all pick up orders. He won’t interact with public at all in fear they’re going to make him sick. He survived cancer in 2007 so considers himself high risk (he’s 57). Also had his third shot. Anyway, in the hospital on a ventilator right now. Lives alone, works from home, zero idea how he got it. At the time of diagnosis he refused to believe he tested positive.

To live in such fear and die anyway would suck. He just spent the last two years almost in hiding. Sad.
