Good to see Oilers doing Oilers’ things last night. The first away game will be a real test for them.

Wow you're brave posting this drivel on a Calgary based forum lol I turned the game off after the third goal when it was clear they unfortunately would not be choking that game. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Oilers doing Oilers' things? You mean choking? They did not do Oiler's things last night, they did the opposite of it. If anything the Leafs did their best Oilers impression. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I don’t think so. You go to a battle of Alberta game in Calgary and 1/3 the crowd has blue jerseys. The same up in Edmonton and there will be zero red jerseys. Flames fans are most definitely the minority, even when it’s bandwagon time. But I hope the Flames do well in the playoffs too as with all Canadian teams every season. Except everything Toronto can choke on a dick. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Edmontonian’s willing to leave their dumpy town and drive 3 hours to a hockey game…. Shocker! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
With the storied histories of both teams being so incredibly equivalent, one would think each team would have the same number of fans.
^^ I didn’t say Oiler things was all good. Haha. Even Kelly Hrudy commented he made his career doing this.
Puck drops at 20:16 on a Thursday night.
Why not midnight?!

Who do we think has the biggest dive/soccer injury impression this post season: Mike Smith or Igor Shesterkin?
The way Shesterkin was lying motionless on the ice with the scrum around you'd think a sniper shot him in the head. Then he pops right back up with the trainer and finishes the game.

Interesting that Nashville is dressing a gritting lineup and Colorado did not dress MacDermid. Nashville have McCarron, Jeannot, Kunin, Trenin, and some guy named Olivier.
Flames better learn the Oilers’ highlights, if they want to get out of the first round. Also nice to see Kane delivering a playoff hat trick to all his haters.

His talent was never in question.
It takes a trash organization to sign a POS human like Kane. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I was ready to toss a jersey onto the ice, but it's not like they signed a risky player to a 7-yr contract. Cough* Lucic*...
His goals/game has been astonishing. In terms of rental player, I think he may be a record holder. I really really dislike his disdain for authority and referees that I still see, but holy shit - he is doing well.
It's a reckless play to sign him that has very luckily paid off for them... Thus far.

Feed the Colorado goalie a stick through his mask until you pull his helmet off and he has to leave the game injured?
No call.
Amazing.
I heard the refs were told to back off.

Nashville doesn't have their starter, so why should Colorado?
